- In my opinion, water pollution is more critical because it can lead to a lack of water, and it is also a potentially dangerous health risk if it is consumed in anyway.

- This does not mean that Jimmy did not use any water; drinking the juice is an indirect source of water use. Water is used in the process of creating the box, as well as in making the fruit juice.
- Water is used to grow the wheat and flour, and it is also used to make the bread itself.
8. The world’s total water has not changed within the past 100 years due to the hydrologic cycle. The water is reused and recycled through this “circle system”; therefore, the water amount remains the same.
9. Oceans, glaciers, water vapor, rivers.
10. If you were stranded in a boat on a large lake, although you would be surrounded by a large body of water, you would not be able to drink the lake water because it could be foul and contaminated.
11. 77% of water is used.
12. 2.11% is found in glaciers and icecaps, while 0.009% is found in lakes.
13. Due to the hydrologic water cycle, water is being reused and recycled. Therefore, the left over drinking water of a dinosaur evaporates and is later let out as rainfall or turns into water vapor.
17. 370 is most likely the calculations of the direct water usage, whereas the 4960 is probably taking indirect water usage into consideration.

- The West contains the majority of the farms and is the center of agriculture in the U.S., while the East contains more factories; therefore, the water usage corresponds.
- In the East, South, and Midwest, the temperatures vary between extreme heat and cold; thus, they have a lot of use for air conditioners and heaters, making steam and electric the greatest water use in those areas. In the West, there are many farms and water is required to irrigate crops. In Alaska, it is very cold and so mining is very useful. Lastly, in Hawaii, due to the tropical climate and island landscaping, water is necessary in order to preserve the agriculture.
